Here is the new Camaro!

Introduced to us all at the 2006 Detroit North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January, this car was inspired by the design of the 1969 Camaro coupe.

Configuration: Four-Passenger, rear-wheel drive v8 performance coupe.

Design Highlights: Taut, athletic, and poised, with a long cowl induction hood, short rear deck and a wide stance. Shaped to evoke the classic sixties era Camaro.

Performance Credentials: Corvette-inspired 400-hp 6.0 liter LS2 small block v8. Active Fuel Management for impressive fuel efficiency. Six-speed manual transmission for widely spaced ratios for agressive acceleration and efficient highway cruising. Sophisticated chassis with four-wheel independent suspension and progressive-rate springs. Four-wheel vented disc brakes with massive 14-inch rotors. Lightweight 5-spoke aluminum wheels: 21-inch front, 22-inch rear.
