Convertible Camaro is back on

Kicking Tires reports, "The automaker now says we can expect the Camaro convertible to make its debut in early 2011, likely as a 2012 model."

Plans for the car were scuttled last week when the German company scheduled to build its power top told GM it was on the verge of bankruptcy. However, KT explains, "Now the company appears to be solvent for the time being and will supply the tops."

Great news for those of us holding out for the open air Camaro. Now to get the V6 or the SS...
