<b>Sun, Nov 2 2014 - LAS VEGAS </b>– Chevrolet revealed the 2015 Camaro Commemorative Edition at the SEMA Show today. The special edition goes on sale this spring.</div>

More than 400,000 fifth-generation Camaros have been sold since April 2009. Since then, Camaro has been America’s best-selling performance car for four consecutive years. Camaro sales for the first 10 months of 2014 are up 8 percent over the same period a year ago, and Camaro currently leads Mustang by 10,000 sales – putting Camaro on track to be America’s favorite performance car for a fifth consecutive year.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“The fifth-generation Camaro was a success from the moment it was introduced, in attracting both long-time Camaro fans and new buyers who have never owned a Chevrolet,” said Todd Christensen, Camaro Marketing Manager. “We wanted to create a special edition Camaro that celebrates that success as the fifth generation comes to a close as the end of the model year.”</div>

<li>Camaro Hot Wheels Edition (2013).</li>
</ul>
<br />
Since its introduction, the Camaro line has expanded to nine distinct models:<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The 323-horsepower V-6-powered LS coupe and LT coupe and convertible – including the 2LS with an EPA-rated 30 mpg on the highway – which match performance with efficiency.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The SS coupe and convertible come with Chevy’s legendary small-block V-8, featuring a 6.2L engine delivering up to 426 horsepower and 0-60 acceleration 4.7 seconds.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The road-racing-inspired Camaro 1LE performance package for SS coupe (manual transmission only), with unique gearing, suspension tuning and tires that make it capable of more than 1 g of lateral acceleration.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Camaro ZL1 (coupe and convertible), which is at home on the race track, the drag strip or daily commuting. It features a supercharged 6.2L V-8 with 580 horsepower and 556 lb-ft of torque – making the ZL1 the most powerful Camaro ever from Chevrolet. It is also the most technologically advanced, with standard Magnetic Ride Control and, on coupe models, Performance Traction Management.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Camaro Z/28 – the most track-capable Camaro ever. It features exterior elements designed like a race car to produce downforce that presses the car against the track for greater grip – up to 1.08 g in cornering acceleration – and faster lap times. Motor Trend named it their Best Driver’s Car for 2014. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Chevrolet has also offered the COPO Camaro since 2012, a hand-built race car designed exclusively for drag racing. It’s the first purpose-built Camaro race car from Chevy and the quickest Camaro ever from the factory. Only 69 were built in 2012, 2013 and 2014, with 69 planned for 2015.</div>

Apparently this ignition key issue impacts all 2010-2014 Chevrolet Camaro models on their lots. <br />
<br />
Maybe GM should use the push button start on more cars like the Camaro?<br />

Update 6/14/14<br />
<br />
GM has issued a recall for all 2010-2014 Camaro models (roughly 500,000 units). This appears to be a precautionary decision to prevent any injuries or accidents that could potentially result. We've driven Camaros, one would need to TRY to have any part of their body hit the swtichblade key assembly. Many other Camaro owners have posted images and videos of their Camaro online showing this same thing.<br />
<br />
GM has informed the media that this is unrelated to the earlier recall involving Chevy Cobalt and similar vehicles. The ignition system meets all GM safety engineering specifications.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Sn85YcUG8rg/U5xujN6vPiI/AAAAAAAAlGc/LhbdA-HpLeo/s1600/Camaro_Key1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-Sn85YcUG8rg/U5xujN6vPiI/AAAAAAAAlGc/LhbdA-HpLeo/s1600/Camaro_Key1.jpg" height="306" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
We are hearing mixed reports on a fix. One is GM replacing the ignition cylinder in the vehicle steering column allowing users to retain their original 'switch blade' design key fob / key assembly. The other option is GM replacing the switch blade assembly with a more traditional key with the key fob featured built into the head of the key itself, this would eliminate the moving/swivel parts.<br />
<br />
Stay tuned for more developments as they are released.<br />

According to General Motors, the Eaton supercharger on the 6.2l LSA motors found in the <strong>2009 - 2013 Cadillac CTS-V</strong> and the <strong>2012 - 2013 Camaro ZL1</strong> models may not function properly, causing the unit to develop a noticeable rattle noise at idle. The noise will normally go away when the engine revs start to rise, but the problem, if left unresolved, may lead to contamination of the internal shaft bearing grease and cause the bearing to squeal over time. This could lead to the bearing overheating, which in turn could cause the engine to seize or simply fail to start.</div>

GM dealers will replace the supercharger at no charge. Vehicle owners will receive a Special Coverage Adjustment for the problem. This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 10 years or 120,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle is sent in to receive the new supercharger, regardless of ownership.</div>

Weld Racing confirmed recently that their forged wheel, which was shown on the concept vehicle at SEMA, will come as standard equipment on the 69 models built the 2014 model year. The wheels, of which full-scale production began back in March, are direct descendants of the revolutionary new Delta-1 drag racing wheels that Weld Racing developed and released for the Top Fuel Dragsters and Funny Cars, Pro Stockers, and Pro Modified cars, two years ago.</div>

<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
Each COPO Camaro race car is built by hand starting with hardware from the General Motors Oshawa, Ontario assembly plant that manufactures regular-production Camaros, including the same body in white body shells (part number 19243374) racers can purchase from Chevrolet Performance, along with other COPO-specific parts, to build their own dedicated race car. Each production car is fitted with an NHRA-approved roll cage and other safety equipment, along with racing chassis and suspension components – including a unique solid rear axle system in place of a regular-production Camaro’s independent rear axle.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
The newly designed racing engines include a revised version of the naturally aspirated 427 engine and supercharged version of the 350 engine introduced in 2013. It will feature a 2.9L Whipple screw-type supercharger. Naturally aspirated 350 and 396 engines are also available. Customers select the engine based on their intended NHRA racing class. They can also purchase all four engines, each serialized to match the car.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
The 2014 COPO Camaro also includes new racing seats, updated graphics and a new, available wheel design.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
“The COPO Camaro contingent was strong at the first Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals in 2013 and we expect an even larger turnout with the new cars in 2014,” said Campbell. “The new engines will make the racing more exciting and COPO drivers more competitive.”</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
<b>Expanded COPO crate engine lineup</b><br />
The same high-performance engines used in the COPO Camaro production race cars are available as crate engines for racers building their own Camaro race cars. Each is engineered for NHRA’s Stock Eliminator and Super Stock classes, offering sportsman racers a range of factory-developed-and-assembled racing engines.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
The COPO crate engine family grows to five for 2014 and includes a naturally aspirated 427 7.0L engine, two 5.3L supercharged 327 engines – a new combination using a Whipple twin-screw 2.9L supercharger and the other using a 4.0L Whipple supercharger – and all-new 396-cubic-inch and 350-cubic-inch naturally aspirated engines. Each is assembled by hand at GM’s Wixom, Mich., racing engine shop. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
The 427, 396 and 350 engines are designed to cover NHRA’s Stock Eliminator classes from E to AA. Curb weight adjustments are the primary requirement for class qualification.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: arial; font-size: 13px; line-height: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px; padding: 0px;">
Chevrolet Performance engineers designed and tested the engines with the same methods used to develop production engines, ensuring their performance and durability. A Holley engine management system is included with each engine.</div>

Chevrolet recently announced all 500 units are sold, spoken for, no longer available. Not bad for an expensive Camaro. Chevrolet announced they plan to produce 2,500 2015 versions (orders opening soon, contact your Chevy dealer for details), but we all know the 2014 will be the 'year to have' for collectors.</div>

In addition to selling out for 2014, Chevrolet recently announced certain Z/28 specific parts will be on limited availability to GM dealers. Want to make your car look like a Z/28? Things just got more difficult. Obviously a move to thwart cloning and to help keep the premium priced vehicles 'exclusive', the following 35 parts will be impacted:<br />

With a sea of aftermarket parts available for the 2010-2013 Chevrolet Camaro available, one of our favorite exterior mods is still the OEM GM Heritage Grille.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We recently ran across <a href="http://www.drakemusclecars.com/" target="_blank">Drake Muscle Car</a> accessories. They offer a very unique front grille treatment, a replacement for the ugly GOLD Chevrolet Bowtie emblem. This blends in with the egg crate Camaro grille to finish it off very nicely.</div>

GM Powertrain Cooling Development engineer Richard Quinn noticed the bowtie emblem in the grille of the Z/28 was displacing air away from the radiator which impacts engine cooling. After some quick modification to remove the gold fill of the bowtie emblem, leaving a chrome outline, they found the airflow improved and added three additional cubic meters of air per minute. This allowed the coolant and engine oil temperature to drop by 2°F during extended track sessions. Thus the Flowtie was born.</div>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">“The Camaro Z/28 is an uncompromising performer that’s bred for the track – and every one of its unique components supports the goal of faster lap times,” said Mark Reuss, president, General Motors North America. “It takes the Z/28 back to its racing roots and adds to the strong lineup of Chevrolet performance cars, including a revamped Camaro SS and supercharged ZL1, as well as the SS sedan, Corvette Stingray convertible and 2015 Corvette Z06, which we’ll introduce at the North American International Auto Show next week."</span></div>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; text-align: justify;">The Z/28’s unique exterior is designed like a race car to produce downforce that presses the tires against the track for greater grip – up to 1.08 g in cornering acceleration – and faster lap times. The aerodynamically optimized design helped the Camaro Z/28 log a lap on Germany’s legendary </span><a href="http://5thgencamaro.blogspot.com/2013/10/track-capable-camaro-z28-validated-at.html" style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; text-align: justify;" target="_blank">Nürburgring</a><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px; text-align: justify;"> road course that was four seconds faster than the Camaro ZL1’s and beat published times for the Porsche 911 Carrera S and the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.</span><span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;"></span><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">Power comes from the 7.0L LS7 engine, with dry-sump oiling, rated at an SAEcertified 505 horsepower (376 kW) and 481 lb-ft of torque (652 Nm). The engine is built by hand at the new Performance Build Center within GM’s Bowling Green assembly plant.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">A close-ratio six-speed manual transmission is the only transmission offered and power is distributed to the rear wheels via a Torsen limited-slip differential featuring a helical gear set, rather than traditional clutch packs, for optimal traction. The differential works in unison with Chevrolet’s proprietary Performance Traction Management system, allowing drivers to adjust the level of throttle and braking intervention to match their capability and driving environment.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">The Camaro Z/28 is also one of the first production cars fitted with race-proven, spool-valve dampers, which allow four-way damping control, enabling engineers to precisely tune both bump and rebound settings for high-speed and low-speed wheel motions. The wider tuning range also allows dramatically greater damper stiffness without a significant change in ride quality. Additional chassis changes include stiffer spring and bushing rates for improved cornering response. Lightweight, 19-inch forged aluminum wheels and Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires reduce unsprung weight by 49.6 pounds (22.5 kilograms) per car compared to the 20-inch wheels standard on Camaro SS and ZL1.</span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">The massive 305/30ZR19 PZero Trofeo R tires represent the first production-car application in the industry and are believed to be the widest front tire on any production car. To fully exploit their grip, the Z/28 also features Brembo Carbon Ceramic Matrix™ rotors and fixed, monoblock calipers. The large 394 x 36 mm front rotors are paired with six-piston calipers, while the 390 x 32 mm rear rotors are paired four-piston calipers. Compared to similar-size, two-piece steel rotors, the lightweight carbon discs save 28 pounds (12.5 kg) per car.</span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">The combination of tire grip and braking power enable the Camaro Z/28 to achieve at least 1.5 g in deceleration. With standard front brake cooling ducts, the Z/28 is also capable of continuous track use.</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">On the interior, the Camaro Z/28 features trim in a distinctive, matte-metallic finish called Octane, a flat-bottom steering wheel and Recaro seats with microfiber inserts. The seats feature aggressive bolsters for high-performance driving, as well as seat cutouts inspired by the five-point harnesses found on racing seats. To save weight, both front seats incorporate manual adjustment.</span></div>

</span>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Verdana; font-size: 13px;">The rear seats of the Z/28 have also been modified for weight reduction. Nine pounds, or four kilograms, were saved by eliminating the seat-back pass-through, as well as using high-density foam in place of the rigid structure of the seat back and steel mesh of the seat bottom.</span></div>

<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Effective Thursday, November 21, 2013, Chevrolet will temporarily suspend order processing for the 2014 Camaro ZL1 model and the SS Performance Package (RPO: 1LE) due to the effect of cold weather on the performance tires for these models. Again, it is only a temporary suspension that does not impact the Camaro LS, LT and SS models ordered without 1LE. Order processing for the 2014 Camaro ZL1 and the SS Performance Package (RPO: 1LE) will resume on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The suspension of ordering will impact Camaro production from January 2014 to March 2014. It is expected any ZL1 or SS models with the Performance Package (RPO: 1LE) produced through December 2013 will be shipped to dealers.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The other ordering issue involves the 2014 Camaro Convertible beige top (RPO: 67T). The beige convertible top will end production for the 2014 model year during the month of January 2014 -- due to our Camaro Spring Edition Package that will go into production then. The last opportunity for dealers to submit orders for convertibles with the beige top (RPO: 67T) will be the Dealer Order Submission Process (DOSP) cycle that starts Thursday, December 5, 2013 and concludes Tuesday, December 10. 2013 -- therefore -- if you desire a 2014 Camaro with a Beige convertible top - you need to visit your dealer immediately to place your order.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The end of beige top production does not impact the availability of the black top (RPO: 19T). As a reminder, the recently announced 2014 Camaro Spring Special edition, when ordered with a convertible model, will include a blue convertible top. </span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Thank you for you continued enthusiasm for all things Camaro!</span><br />

<li>Z/28 undergoes 10 hours or 1,000 miles of testing at Nordschleife</li>
<li>Fastest lap completed in 7:37.40 in rainy conditions</li>
</ul>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<strong>DETROIT</strong> – Chevrolet today revealed a video of the all-new, 2014 Camaro Z/28 lapping Germany’s challenging Nürburgring road course in 7:37.40, a time comparable with some of the world’s most prestigious sports cars.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Z/28’s lap is four seconds faster than the Camaro ZL1, and beats published times for the Porsche 911 Carrera S and the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. The Z/28’s lap was completed on less-than-ideal conditions, with damp pavement and pouring rain near the end of the run.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"One of the challenges of testing at the 'Ring is that the track is so long that conditions can change radically in a single lap," said Al Oppenheiser, Camaro chief engineer. "Adam Dean, the development driver for Z/28, did a heroic job driving in deteriorating conditions. Based on telemetry data from our test sessions, we know the Z/28 can be as much as six seconds faster on a dry track."</div>
<br />
In terms of lap times, the Z/28’s improved speed came from three areas:<br />
<ul>
<li>Increased grip: The Z/28 is capable of 1.08 g in cornering acceleration, due to comprehensive chassis revisions</li>
<li>Increased stopping power: The Z/28 features Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes capable of 1.5 g in deceleration, and consistent brake feel lap after lap</li>
<li>Reduced curb weight: The naturally aspirated Z/28 weighs 300 pounds less than the supercharged Camaro ZL1, with changes ranging from lightweight wheels to thinner rear-window glass.</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The heart of the Z/28 is the 7.0L LS7 engine. The LS7 uses lightweight, racing-proven, high-performance components, such as titanium intake valves and connecting rods, CNC-ported aluminum cylinder heads and a forged-steel crankshaft to help produce an SAE-certified 505 horsepower (376 kW) and 481 lb-ft of torque (652 Nm). Air-conditioning is available, but only as an option.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A close-ratio six-speed manual transmission is the only transmission offered and power is distributed to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential featuring a helical gear set, rather than traditional clutch packs. The new design enables the driver to apply more power and get through corners faster, by making the most of the capability of individual-wheel antilock brake function during corner entry braking, mid-corner speed and corner-exit traction.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The team spent a week at the Nürburgring as part of the Z/28's performance-validation regimen, accumulating a total of 10 hours and nearly 1,000 miles on the track. Each lap took less than eight minutes to complete, despite having to overtake slower traffic at times. These hours are part of the grueling 24-Hour Test, which simulates a full year's worth of track use of track days or amateur-level competition at the hands of an owner. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Passing the 24-Hour Test is a requirement for all cars we call 'track capable,’” said Wayne McConnell, director of global vehicle performance. "The test pushes the car at 10/10ths on the track for a total of 24 hours. During the test the only mechanical changes allowed are replacing the brakes and tires.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The 24-Hour Test is broken into a number of segments over the course of several days – and even at different tracks – to evaluate performance in precisely measured and carefully monitored increments. Crucially, each valid test lap must be run within 2 percent of a target lap speed to count toward the 24-hour total.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The 24-Hour Test was first used in the early 1990s for the fourth-generation Corvette. Back then, the 300-horsepower Corvette was Chevrolet’s most powerful vehicle, and the 24-Hour Test measured 15 channels of data. Today, the 2014 Camaro LS offers a 323-horsepower V-6, while the Camaro Z/28’s racing-proven LS7 7.0L small-block V-8 delivers 505 horsepower, and the 24-Hour Test measures 130 channels of data.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“Our cars' performance and capability have advanced tremendously in the past 20 years, which required us to continually improve the parameters of the 24-Hour Test," said McConnell.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
"Today’s test pushes the car harder than the vast majority of customers ever will. As a result, when we call a car ‘track capable’ we are confident that it will perform reliably and consistently for our customers.”<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The COPO Camaro will play a major starring role in tonight's (October 14, 2013, 9:00 PM EST) airing of Discovery Channel's hit automotive television show, "Fast N' Loud". Gas Monkey Garage owner and star of the show, Richard Rawlings and his sidekick, Dennis Collins, worked at the Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI as well as the COPO Camaro Build Facility to help assemble their 1-of-69 NHRA drag race Camaro. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Filmed in late June of this year, the show details the step-by-step process that it takes to hand build a COPO Camaro. Richard and Dennis started by building their 427 engine, then they headed off to the COPO Build Facility where they work side by side Chevrolet Performance technicians to add an NHRA-approved roll cage, straight axle conversion, and continue the process to build their COPO from the body-in-white up.
Along the way, the stars of "Fast N Loud" stop off at the GM Heritage Center to tour the over 100 year history of General Motors.

The Buyers, Builders & Owners Meet & Greet (BBOMG) represents the Chevrolet Camaro enthusiast community from across the United States and Canada. In addition to providing BBOMG participants with unique experiences, we are proud to be able to give back to GM based communities to remind people of the benefits of having General Motors as a corporate citizen in their community.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We all appreciate the standard of life which Detroit has given us for nearly a century and the participants and supporters of BBOMG wanted to somehow give back.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In partnership with General Motors and Chevrolet, BBOMG is proud to present a donation of $4,044 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-08gIrn7z4-Y/Uli1wHmfLBI/AAAAAAAAaOg/jL0QTZpADEA/s1600/bbomgpresentation13.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="262" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-08gIrn7z4-Y/Uli1wHmfLBI/AAAAAAAAaOg/jL0QTZpADEA/s400/bbomgpresentation13.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We acknowledge that the youth of today represent the success of tomorrow and BBOMG wishes to show our appreciation to the communities by supporting today’s youth-based charities. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit is a fine example of what youth-based charity should be.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Big Brothers Big Sisters Chief Development Officer, Nancy Maier shared the following comments;</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
“To put things in perspective as to what this donation will do for our Agency, it will allow us to remove 6 - 10 youth from our wait list. We will now have the ability to pair a vulnerable young boy or girl with a positive role model who will work to provide educational and emotional support to a child who may not receive that support at home. Each year we want to serve more children than the previous year. Last year we served 1,271, and in this last quarter of 2013, we are hoping to reach 1,300 children. You have helped us get closer with this gift.”</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
BBOMG would like to thank all of our sponsors and supporters which make the event possible. In particular, we would like to acknowledge the extensive support that GM has provided over the years. Most importantly, the event organizers would like to thank the BBOMG participants who make the event more than just a car show….they make it an experience!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And now for a bit of history:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A group of dedicated GM enthusiasts had attended many Car shows and Camaro Events - but in their mind, the one thing that was missing from these shows were all the men and women who toiled to bring our magnificent Camaros to us, the buyers and enthusiasts. And thus, they created the "Buyers, Builders, and Owners Meet and Greet" as a way to connect all of the men and women that contribute to the “Build” of the Camaro with the customers that “Buy” the Camaro. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since 2010 people came from all over Canada and the United States to meet the men and women of the Oshawa Build Centre, the St. Catharines engine plant and other local GM Suppliers. This year BBOMG invited participants to Detroit so that people could acknowledge GM design and also experience the world-famous Woodward Dream Cruise.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The founders of this event believe participants comments such as these describe it best: "It's a celebration of the Camaro, a celebration of the men and women who build it and a celebration of the people that make this community so great. -- You will leave this event having made some of the best friends you've ever had. -- BBOMG is more than just a car show - it's an EXPERIENCE!". In addition, BBOMG has also endeavored to contribute to the local communities through charitable donations. And amazingly they’ve done all this without charging any registration fees to participants!</div>

<b><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">DAYTONA, Fla.</span></b><span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> –
As Chevrolet’s first V-8, rear-wheel-drive performance sedan since 1996, the
new Chevrolet SS is designed to deliver performance on the street and on the
track. The 2014 Chevrolet SS will debut this weekend at the Daytona
International Speedway as the SS racecar makes its NASCAR debut during the
Daytona 500. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“The
Chevrolet brand was largely built on the strength of rear-drive performance
sedans, yet it's been 17 years since we've offered one,” said Mark Reuss,
president of General Motors North America. “The all-new Chevrolet SS fills that
void and fills it better than any other vehicle in the brand’s rich history.
The comfort, convenience, spaciousness and V-8 power make the SS a total
performance package unlike any other on the road today.”</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The
Chevrolet SS benefits from the proven, race-tested, global rear-wheel drive
architecture that is the foundation for the Camaro, Caprice Police Patrol
Vehicle and Holden’s VF Commodore. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The
Chevrolet SS is powered by the LS3 Chevrolet V-8, expected to deliver 415
horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Also used in the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette,
the LS3 displaces 6.2 liters, more than the 5.5-liter V-8 powering the
Chevrolet SS NASCAR competitors. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The
LS3 is married to a six-speed automatic transmission, which can be shifted
manually using TAPshift paddles mounted on the steering wheel. With an
aggressive 3.27 final-drive ratio, the Chevrolet SS accelerates from 0 to 60
mph in about five seconds – making it one of the quickest sedans on the market.
</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">To
ensure that it turns and stops as well as it accelerates; the Chevrolet SS also
features a sport-tuned chassis, including:</span></div>

</ul>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Handling
is also improved by a near 50/50 weight distribution, and a low center of
gravity – made possible in part by the aluminum hood and rear deck lid that are
30 percent lighter than traditional steel panels. </span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“Our
goal was to create a car that delivers incredible grip and handling balance
while cornering, while still being comfortable to drive on the road,” said
David Leone, executive chief engineer GM global programs. “The perfect weight
balance and lower center of gravity were a big part of that goal because it
enabled the team to tune for a more comfortable highway ride without
sacrificing handling or driver confidence while cornering at the limits.”
</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">Similarly,
the design of the SS blends performance cues and premium details. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">“From
every angle, the Chevrolet SS says power and performance,” said John Cafaro
design director Chevrolet passenger cars and small crossovers. “The combination
of an aggressive rear-wheel drive stance and body-side attitude with the right
balance of detail and refinement inside and out are the perfect home for
Chevrolet’s V-8 performance package.”</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The
staggered front and rear wheels, which are pushed out to the corners, enhance
the sporting, muscular stance of the SS. Up front, the aluminum hood features a
subtle “power bulge” hinting at the power of the engine underneath. At the
rear, the tapered, tear-drop shape contributes to improved aerodynamic
performance. Premium cues include jewel-like chrome accents, standard
high-intensity discharge headlamps and light-emitting diode daytime running
lights. </span><br />

<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The
spacious interior of the SS will comfortably accommodate five adults, with 42
inches of front legroom, and 39 inches of rear legroom. Leather seating surfaces
are standard, as are eight-way power adjustable front bucket seats with
additional side bolstering that hug the driver and front passenger in
tight-handling situations. The SS emblem is prominently stitched onto the
soft-touch instrument panel which features two types of chrome finishes – a
satin gloss and a bright chrome. At night, the interior is illuminated by
ice blue ambient lighting. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">An
integrated center stack includes infotainment, climate and other vehicle
controls. The Chevrolet SS also offers a long list of technology features as

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The
SS is also the first Chevrolet to offer Automatic Parking Assist, which
provides hands-free parking help. This efficient ‘hands-free’ parking assistant
uses the ultrasonic sensing system to detect the width and depth of either
parallel or reverse right-angle parking spaces. While the driver controls the
throttle, transmission, and brake, the Automatic Parking Assist controls the
steering inputs necessary to neatly park the Chevrolet SS.</span><b><span style="font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;"> </span></b><br />

<span style="font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The
2014 Chevrolet SS will be available in the fourth quarter of 2013, with prices
set closer to the on-sale date. When it arrives in showrooms, the SS will
join the Corvette and Camaro, whose combined sales have made Chevrolet
America’s favorite performance brand for the last two years.</span><br />
